Hi Parents! 

This season, our swimmers are diving into a fun, team-based competition! Swimmers have been placed on one of three teams: Coach Austin's Orcas (Red), Coach Val's Barracudas (Orange), or Coach Cara's Makos (Pink)! Swimmers can earn points each week through practice participation, skill improvement, team spirit, and fun weekly challenges. We had our first fun competition on Monday, with our groups playing wordle! Our words to guess were "Towel" and "Board" - it was a tough challenge!

Parents can join in too! Volunteering, cheering at our timed practice (next one is August 27th), and staying on top of swim dues all help your swimmer’s team rack up points. If you're interesting in learning more about points, I've attached a flyer with more information. 

We’ll celebrate our champions and crown the winning team at the end of October!
